FULL PAINT MATCH:
You see a lot of these GX550s on the market with lifts, wheels and tires but ZERO with the attention to detail with the FULL COLOR MATCH. These truck from the factory come with a ton of black plastic which just makes the truck look cheap. This color matching process from DAS is a very time consuming process. First, all 24 parts were removed from the truck completely, sanded down to create a flat surface as the black plastic has a texture. Once all 24 parts were sanded down to a perfectly smooth surface, we then applied a plastic promoter since painting plastic and having the paint adhere is tricky. This process ensures perfect adhesive. Once the plastic promoter is sprayed, we they spray a 2 part primer. Once the primer is dry we then sand its down for a perfectly smooth finished so the base color has a flat and smooth finish. From here, we then spray 2 coats of factory paint followed by 3 coats of clear coat. PLEASE SEE VIDEO FOR COLOR MATCHING PARTS.
