PAINT AND BODY: STILL UNDERWAY AS OF 1-20-25

Wanting to make this Cherokee truly a one-of-a-kind XJ, we decided to finish the body in an absolutely stunning Army Green finish. This meticulously crafted Jeep was completely disassembled down to its frame and unibody, skillfully stripped down to the pristine factory metal. Once all panels, trim components, handles, windows, seals, and other elements were carefully removed, the metal panels received an application of high-quality sealer to ensure long-lasting protection. After this, the panels were meticulously prepped and sealed, followed by the application of an initial primer coat. This was sanded and blocked to create a smooth surface, after which another layer of primer was added, accompanied by a second round of sanding and blocking. This rigorous process is essential for achieving the 100% flat surfaces required for a flawless show finish. Once all panels were primed and thoroughly sanded, we proceeded with the Army Green paint, culminating in three delectable coats of clear coat. Once all painted panels were allowed to cure properly, they were expertly wet-sanded, compounded, buffed, and polished before being carefully reassembled. For this particular build, you will not find even a single tape line, showcasing a paint job that surpasses factory standards, with every single square inch meticulously painted to perfection.
