You are viewing in my opinion the nicest and most documented E36 M3 on the entire market. These E36's are getting harder and harder to find specially as a TRUE 1 OWNER, adult owned vehicle, all original 66k miles car. The previous owner, an avid BMW, Porsche and Ferrari owner took the utmost care of this car mechanically and cosmetically. First, you will not find such an impressive service history as this E36. The previous owner has spent over $30k, yes $30k in maintaining this car since new, we have all the documents from when the car was purchased. There are synthetic oil changes done within 100 miles of one another simply due to time intervals. The owner brought the car in every 4-12 months and told them to do anything and everything that they recommended. The owner is a very well known influential guy with a ton of money who cares for his cars like very few people do. In the world of E36 cars, they get shuffled around from owner to owner, modified and their history is completely unknown.

Due to the impeccable service history and using nothing but he best parts and fluids, this E36 drives like a dream. Not only is it very pleasurable to drive, but it literally feels and sounds like a new car. There are ZERO noises, unusual characteristics, or any typical signs you get of driving a used car. As a previous personal owner of 3 E36 M3 myself and seller of many more, I know these cars well and this car is hands down an incredible example. With the fast rise in value and collectability of the E30 M3, the E36 M3 is following the linear line of being next and the values have been increasing for the last couple of years and will continue to do so which makes this car a great buy right now compared to future value. 

Not only did the owner keep this car in perfect working order but the car was equally kept cosmetically. Upon entering the cabin, you immediately notice a rich yet slight scent of high end leather conditioner which is also noticed when inspecting the leather. The leather in these cars are notorious for cracking and becoming very hard which is not the case with this car. Even when the car showed any slight signs of defect it was immediately take care of. For example back in 2017, the headliner began to sag which is also very common with these and the owner went to a BMW dealer to get OEM fabric and finish. The car was garaged kept and covered since day 1 of ownership. All body panels are original BMW factory panels.

Im the owner of Davis AutoSports and I bought this car about 2 years ago for a personal car as it was the nicest E36 I have come across and Im drawn to car like this particular one with perfect history and $30k worth of documented services. With the previous owner alway keeping his cars perfect, he did have this car paint corrected which is a common service for guys that can afford it as its typically about $2k to get done. The shop that did the wet-sanding unfortunately sanded through some small areas on the the hard edges of the car which is very easy to do as we have paint corrected 100s of cars here at DAS. As someone that is OCD and knowing where some of the marks were, I decided to have my shop completely repaint the entire car as I wanted a perfect car. This gave me the chance to make some other changes and improvements to the car. In painting the car, we replaced EVERY single exterior seal, trim, belt molding, weather seal, hardware, clips, badges, etc which were all OEM at a cost of over $1000 which I have the invoice for. These E36 M3s are notorious for these items getting some slight dry rot and cracking. We also color keyed all the bumper trim, side trim and valances for a clean finish. To complete the new exterior we had the wheels refinished by stripping down to metal in a stripping tank followed by a silver powder coating. I also replaced the original window with new glass and seal!!! This car now not only drives new but literally looks new!!!

Our Paint process is that of a fully restored vehicle. This BMW was completely disassembled, all glass, all trim, all rubber, all holdings, all bumpers, all lights, hood, etc. The body was then sanded down to metal, sealed, primed then blocked and sanded, then primed again followed by another blocking and sanding followed by 2 coats and base silver paint and 2 coat of clear coat. After the panels cured the car was put back together. When we put the panels back on EVERY SINGLE Clip, rubber seal, belt molding, exterior weather trim, side glass molding, M3 emblems, side skirt molding and rubber, etc was all replaced with brand new OEM BMW parts. Glass was then reinstalled with all new seals and gaskets. This paint job although we didn add this price to the car would easily cost $12-16k depending on where you went. We also use nothing but the very best primer, base color and clear on the market. This Paint Job literally took this E36 to another level, not only is the paint better than new but all the seals, trim etc which is ALWAYS aged and dry cracked on these cars looks and is brand new. We also color matched the side trim which comes plastic and black from the factory for a color match/ color keyed cleaner look.
