We have built, restored and sold well over 500 Cherokee XJs over the years. This Jeep came to us bone stock, 100% original with ZERO upgrades. Our goal with this XJ was to build a classy, fully serviced daily driver. This XJ will be restored as outlined in the build sheet below. This Jeep as of 12-12-21 is currently in production in our shop and should be done by 04/2022.

The exterior of this Jeep will be a must see in person XJ to really appreciate. A Major part of our full restore will be our complete repaint on this XJ. Our paint process is much different than your typical body shop/repair center. Our Kevlar process is done correctly with the panels being removed off the Jeep, prepared and prepped and sprayed with a two part Kevlar for a Gorgeous and Rugged Finish. We will also added our Exclusive DAS Moab Wheels mounted on a set of BFG All Terrain Tires. The Low Profile roof rack adds to the ruggedness while increasing valuable cargo space when needed. Your night time driving will be great with the New DOT approved LED headlights!!! Like always we will spend a TON of time making sure the undercarriage is equally presentable as we do with all of our builds. The axles will be removed, sanded down and primed and painted for a new look. We also replace EVERY Nut and Bolt securing suspension and steering with HIGH STRENGTH GREADE 10 HARDWARE!!!! With the interior, we are going with our own DAS custom heated and leather seats. We will also take the extra step in rebuilding the seat bolsters and adding all new foam!!! The seat brackets will be sanded down and refinished!!! The carpets will all be replaced with brand new top of the line carpet and insulation under the carpet. Like all of our XJs, we will install a brand new headliner and sun-visors. To top off the interior, we will be adding a full flush-mount in dash 7" multimedia station with navigation, back up camera, top of the line polk DB speakers in the front and rear. This system is great with bluetooth audio and talk and offers full handsfree experience. - See Video

STAGE 2 REPAINT

This is a more common paint job here at DAS with our clients. This option includes the factory color only. With this method, every single body panel, trim, handle, glass, light, and seal off the XJ. The body completely disassembled for for minimal tape lines. After the body work is performed the body gets a full primer and block service followed by a 2nd and sometimes even a 3rd primer and block service ( a single primer and blocking is about a 24 hour service alone) this gets the panels 100% flat for a better than factory finish. After the base color, the body then gets 2 coats of clear coat. The panels are pained individually on stands and not on the jeep, once cured they are reassembled along with glass ( which all get new seals and often new front windshield) lights, trim, bumpers, grill, etc.
