PAINT AND BODY

We decided to undertake a meticulous repaint of this exceptional XJ in the striking factory moss green pearl. This is not just an ordinary paint job; it encompasses a complete and thorough restoration that includes every door jam, pillar, back side of doors, back side of the hood, tailgate, and much more. In fact, there is not a single area that was not revived and repainted to perfection. The difference between a complete repaint and a standard repaint is significant, requiring approximately triple the time and effort to achieve our high standards. We began by stripping this XJ down to its bare metal, methodically starting from step one with etch primer, followed by 2K primer, sealer, two meticulous coats of base coat, and finally, three luxurious coats of clear coat. When painting our XJs, we ensure that all handles, locks, trim, windows, and panels are completely removed, resulting in a flawless finish without any visible tape lines, reminiscent of a factory paint job. However, we invest considerably more time than the factory on door jams and the overall fit and finish. While this method is incredibly time-consuming, the stunning end result truly speaks for itself, showcasing our commitment to excellence in every detail.
