RARE OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE A DAS JEEP ALREAY UNDERWAY

This Jeep is hitting the market for the first time as of 7-29-22. This is rare opportunity to purchase a Jeep from us that has already received months of work and is much closer to being completed. We will outline our plans below for this Jeep along with different options and packages you can choose from to build it just the way you want to!!! We have the entire body done and most of the interior done. Our goal with this build is to produce a timeless stage 2 XJ finished in Moss Green Pearl and Brown DAS seats.

This Jeep itself came to us as a 100% original Cherokee is great condition with only 125k miles.


PAINT AND BODY
You are looking at a 15 week paint job and assembly on this custom XJ. We have well over 250 man hours in the paint and body alone. We stripped down this XJ to metal and started from step one with 2K primer, sealer, a Moss Green Pearl, and 2 coats of clear coat. When we painted this XJ, it was 100% stripped down to the bare bones, all doors, windows, glass, hood, flares, rear gate, weather trim, handles, trim, belt moldings, door hinges, bumpers, grills, lights, etc were removed. All the Jams, pillars, back side of doors, back side of hood, back side of rear gate, etc were all sanded and prepped for a prefect finish to match the body. This is a very time consuming method but the end result speaks for itself. We also painted all the door handles, mirror housings, belt moldings, factory roof rack and more. In addition to the ENTIRE Jeep being painted, it also underwent a 4 day wet sanding and buffing for a perfectly flat top clear coat layer and mirror finish.

WEEKS 1 - 8

We spent the first 5 weeks prepping this XJ for its complete color change paint Job. We decided to finish the XJ in the Factory Moss Green Pearl. With all DAS paint job, we disassemble the entire Jeep, all panes, glass, moldings, handles, etc. This process ensures a factory like finish with no tape lines, hard edges, etc. The photos below with masking are there for body work, primer, and sealer. As you see, 100% of the Jeep will be painted, front and rear sides of all panels. This process below gets all and any imperfections out of the body. Once the dents and dings are removed we then prime the entire body and block down for a perfection smooth and flat finish, this process is then repeated for a second time ensuring a better then factory finish.

WEEK 9

After the body work, primer and blocking process is completed, we then spray a sealer coat for added protection and longevity before the base color is applied. As seen below, every square inch of body and metal is sprayed. In the photos below the primer is a light gray and the sealer is a dark gray. This is a step 90% of body shops skip as its unseen and takes additional time and material.
